“I am a garden designer and my garden is both a deeply important personal space and also a potential show-case where I can invite clients. A major upheaval in the garden with the addition of a garden building meant that a great re-shuffle was required. I have a highly populated pond, which needed to be transferred without loss of amphibian, fish or plants life. The team were great, the pond was constructed- levelled and edged in perfect circle of brick- and filled with the old water and all the fish survived without incident. A terrace and steps of hand made brick were built, irregularities corrected in the old steps, stone lifted from the pond and recycled in the gravel garden. This was not a straightforward job and the team needed to be creative, thoughtful and responsive. I couldn't be happier with the job they did and the garden burst into life again this spring looking like a mature old friend.”
